DAY 3 TRANSATLANTIC IN BARCELONA

Today we took a tour from Celebrity called Panoramic Barcelona
and we were the grandchildren of the rest of the people on the
bus. That should tell you how old the people were. Our guide was
a joke; very animated and he kept on repeating himself which
might have been a good thing since he was very hard to
understand. There's not much to say about the tour but when we
got back to the port I did buy a duffel bag to be able to bring home
the candies since my bags were stuffed before I left the states.

Had lunch in the buffet and we had planned to go back into
Barcelona by shuttle but it looked like it might rain so we thought
we would play it safe and stay on board. We took naps and then
got ready to go to the Sky Lounge and meet up with Sue and
Steve, and Rita and Jules. I also ran into Joanie and Norm which
was a pleasant surprise. I hadn't seen them since the Hawaii
cruise.

Dinner was okay but it seems like the asst. maitre de's flock to us
along with Lorenzo. We got a new tablemate tonight; a single
woman whose name is Daisy and she was amazed at how many
big shots came over to see how we were doing. We had key lime
pie for Jules again tonight and will have it again tomorrow. Bruce
and Gail stopped me on the way out of the dining room to ask how
come we're so popular and I had to explain about the key lime pie
and promised them 2 pieces tomorrow night.

They have started something new on this cruise. They are not
opening the doors to the theater until 8:30 for some reason which
is a real pain in the neck. I'll find a way around that somehow.
Tonight's entertainment was a magician named Jaime Allen and
might have been good but Enid and I kept on falling asleep in the
middle of his tricks. We just couldn't keep our eyes open.
I need a vacation.
